The headline number
Your ILU (Individual Life Units) is a single measure of your life system's overall vitality — like horsepower for a car. The composite, transparent by construction:
- S — your score per dimension · W — the importance you assign
- I — integration (how well dimensions connect) · C — awareness level
- H — overall health coefficient · T — time-use efficiency
The coherence threshold (0.7)
Below ~0.7, energy leaks into internal friction and growth is effortful; above it, dimensions begin supporting each other and momentum builds. The 0.7 mark is a chosen model parameter, inspired by phase-transition behaviour in complex systems (water → ice: a small change crosses a threshold and the whole system reorganises). It is a proprietary application of an established idea — not a standard used by the UN, the World Bank, or anyone else. A useful target, not a certified fact.
The scale ladder (designed & aspirational)
- ILU — Individual (0–10,000): ~2,000 ≈ a typical functioning adult; 8,000+ ≈ highly self-actualised.
- CLU — Community · RLU — Regional · NLU — National (a candidate lens alongside GDP) · GLU — Global, a long-horizon measure of humanity-plus-planet.
The ripple
Drawing on Dunbar's ~150 stable relationships and network theory, personal change doesn't stay personal — it spreads to the people around you. Any multiplication figure is presented as a model estimate, clearly labelled, never as a measured fact.
A horoscope reads you off the stars.
A LIFESCOPE reads you off your life.
For millions of people, a horoscope or kundali is a daily, meaningful ritual — a way to pause and ask “how am I, really?” LENS doesn't argue with that. It offers a second reading, drawn from a different source: not the stars you didn't choose, but a set of honest questions about who you are right now. Same daily-ritual format. Different inputs.
